Who is Hattena
Rug design inspired by culture
Hattena is a design and production brand in Ataşehir, Istanbul. It designs bespoke rugs and kilims and makes them to measure for architectural projects.
Named after one of the oldest names of Hatay, Hattena opened its first store as Hattena Design House.
Today it works on residential, hotel, yacht and office projects, from design to installation, under one roof. The business model rests on bespoke design, not on mass production. Each rug is planned around the size and light of the space, how heavily it is used and the designer’s intent; its sample is approved, and then it is made.
Ready-made collections are also offered through the Hattena Design House e-commerce site and the showroom, by appointment. The Elly Concept and PatchArt Rug brands are under the same roof.

Workshop
Cutting to size and edge finishing in our own workshop
Rugs are cut to your size in our own workshop; where an edge finish is wanted, the binding or border is also sewn in our workshop. Binding and border are separate edge treatments; the form of the rug and your preference decide which is used.

Recognition
Jury Special Award and second place at Anatolian Brands.
Hattena received the Jury Special Award in the Anatolian Brands competition, which evaluates Anatolian brands, and took second place in the same competition.

The showroom is open weekdays 09:00–18:30, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Bring your measurements and photos of the space; at the first meeting we will set the direction together.
